Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you
through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a
spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:6-7)
We fail in our memories, sometimes within minutes. We need to be constantly reminded that God has gifted us with the ability to perform what He has called us forth to accomplish. No Christian ever stood before a lion or a king or a man in a skid row mission, without being enabled by God to perform his ministry. God has not given us nothing, so that we should fear, but He has enabled us with supernatural power from God the Holy Spirit. He has not only blessed us with this, He has given us the gift of love, & the ability to think in such a way, as to be victorious in all things.
